When nostalgia feels good

If techno-this and fast track-that leaves you spinning, Yeager Farm has a nostalgic quality that reminds us of an easier, slower time, like maybe our own childhood? Not long ago the property was a farm — the last agricultural holdout in the city of Longmont. There’s a school across the street. The neighborhood has its own playground and a park. And we’ve designed architecture akin to the arts and crafts movement from the ’20s, another nod to yesteryear.
But wait – there’s also a stylish, contemporary side to Yeager Farm – the houses.
Built Green® and Energy-Star® rated, these two-story and ranch homes feature open floor plans, vaulted ceilings, and cherry, granite and stainless steel kitchens — fabulous upgrades not usually found at these prices. Our current favorite is the 2-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath Whitewater, a spacious ranch ready to close and priced to sell at $399,900. The generously sized cul-de-sac lot and east-facing patio are real pluses. Who doesn’t love the morning sun with your coffee and afternoon shade when it’s time to start the grill. A third bedroom in the front of the house works well as a study or guest bedroom. If you’re looking to expand, the full, unfinished basement with rough-in plumbing is perfect as a home entertainment room, another bedroom and bath, and the feature everyone loves•more storage space.
Stop by and have a look. We’re open daily 11-5 PM, or give us a call (303.678.1362).
