Markel Homes Partners with YWCA Boulder to Support “Better Because of Her” Luncheon

YWCA Boulder County hosted the annual “Better Because of Her” Luncheon on Thursday, August 24. Markel Homes was proud to support this important event as a Gold Level Sponsor.

YWCA Boulder County is an organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Markel Homes shares their mission to improve and empower our community. 

The “Better Because of Her” Luncheon is a celebration of women and allies who are changemakers, advocates, mentors, colleagues and friends with a commitment to positive change. The event included a showcase of the YWCA’s programs and impact, networking opportunities, a ceremony honoring the recipients of the Better Because of Her Award, Energizing the Future Award and Active Ally Award, and a live Paddle Raiser Auction to raise money for the YWCA’s crucial work.
