Students from Centaurus High School’s engineering program got to see real-world examples of the concepts they are learning in class when they visited Markel Homes’ North End community in Louisville this week. Markel Homes superintendents Rob King and Ed Stayer, along with structural engineers from Lafayette-based DLK Engineering, took students on a tour of two homes in progress. These students may be building, engineering or designing buildings of their own in the years to come!
