Markel Homes is pleased to offer homeowners a One-year Limited Warranty for its new homes across Colorado.
Warranty claims are addressed 60-days post closing and prior to your one-year closing date anniversary.
To submit a warranty request, please complete the warranty request form via your Markel Homes ITK (Internet Tool Kit) portal by clicking the button below. Once in your portal, click the blue tab that says “Home Buyers/Owners” to enter your warranty claim information.

EMERGENCY SERVICES
Markel Homes Construction Company will provide emergency service for situations that meet requirements during the one-year warranty period. “Emergency” is defined in this limited warranty to include the following situations:
1. Total loss of heat – Call the appropriate trade contractor from the list provided in your Walk-through packet OR a 24-Hour Professional Service (when the outside temperature is below 40°F).
2. Total loss of electricity – Check with the utility company before reporting this circumstance to Markel Homes or an electrician. Xcel Energy 1-800-895-1999 or local provider.
3. Total loss of water – Check with the water department to be certain the problem is not a general outage in the area. Call the appropriate trade contractor from the list provided in your Walk-through packet OR Local Water Utility Supplier.
4. Plumbing leak – Shut off water, then call the appropriate plumber contractor from the list provided in your Walk-through packet OR 24-Hour Professional Service.
5. Gas leak – In the event of a natural gas leak, leave your house and contact your local gas company. Contact your local utility company or plumber if the leak is at the furnace/boiler or water heater supply lines. Xcel Energy 1-800-895-2999 or 911.
