Drivers on South Boulder Road last week may have noticed the perfectly-shaped pine tree on top of the latest 12-plex going up at North End. A sign of the holiday spirit? Not exactly, although the evergreen will likely end up in the living room of someone’s home this holiday season.
Donated by our landscaper, the tree signals the completion of the roof on another set of easy living condo lofts in the popular North End community in Louisville. We marked the occasion last Friday with a gathering of Markel folks and crew members around the Pile High Burgers food truck.
Construction supervisors, engineers, framers, roofers, electricians and plumbers were treated to burgers and fries and a big thank-you for their work. These are the men and women who turn reams of architectural plans into gorgeous, well-built, energy-efficient 2-bed/2-bath easy living condos. We’re grateful for their skills, professionalism and loyalty.
Located at 1505 Hecla Way, the 12-plex is the last of three to be built in this phase of construction at North End. Five of the 12 units have sold, with pricing from $389,900. Rob King, construction supervisor for Markel Homes, estimates a late summer completion. Interested? Contact Sales Manager Michele Steward by phone (303-604-9196) or email. Don’t delay—only seven remain. Make 2017 the year you go condo.
